Living up to their slogan, "The Patisserie for Everyone," Kulu Kulu Honolulu’s second location strives to become the neighborhood favorite with Japanese-style quality cakes. The boutique will specialize in custom cakes and will continue to serve Kulu Kulu’s famous strawberry roll cakes, made daily with airy pound cake, light cream and fresh strawberries. Other popular flavors served will include cheesecake and their original "Diamond Head puff” as well as cakes made of mango, Okinawan sweet potato and Hawaii seasonal fruits and flavors.

The Rotary Club of Hawaii Kai takes pride in having assisting deserving students pursue a higher education via scholarships. Community and corporate support is crucial to the advancement of these scholarships which are aimed to spark the desire to continue to learn and provide an opportunities for deserving students. Additionally, net funds from the Duck Race will go toward our community projects, with a larger focus on scholarships and the race will allow our club to provide more scholarships at a greater dollar amount to students in our community, including Kaiser High School and more!

Born and raised in Sapporo, Japan, Kanno moved to the U.S.A 7 years ago to pursue her dreams in fashion. Educated within New York’s prized fashion community, Kanno found herself inspired by the local fashion, music, and the arts scene – and ready to understand the technical aspect of her passion, she attended, and completed a degree at Honolulu Community College.
