Largest ethnic festival in Hawaii! Always held Labor Day weekend. 2013 will mark the 31st Okinawan Festival!! This year: Saturday, 08.31 and Sunday, 09.01.
The Okinawan Festival is always held on Labor Day weekend at Kapi'olani Park. 2012 marks the 30th Okinawan Festival!! Saturday features a bon dance in the evening. Park your car at Kapi'olani Community College and catch the shuttle down to the park (pick up is at the bus stop by the chapel on Monserrat/Diamond Head Road)
