Join us for an unforgettable evening of smooth jazz with Twilight Jazz at Helumoa, Royal Hawaiian Center’s free concert for kama‘āina and visitors. In celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month, this variation of the Center’s evening concert series will be held in The Royal Grove and feature the talents of the following musicians

                                                   
Honoka‘a Jazz Band – Under the direction of Director Gary Washburn, 34 Honoka‘a High School students from Hawai‘i Island will take listeners on a musical journey with an arrangement of songs spanning from the 1940s to the present. The repertoire features the music of renowned artists such as Paul Simon, Michael Buble, Etta James, Ruth Brown, Brazil 66, Christina Aguilera, Maceo Parker, and Aretha Franklin. Most recently, the nationally recognized, award-winning band was selected as one of thirty-six schools out of 22,000 eligible schools to receive the prestigious 2011 GRAMMY Signature Award.


Kit Ebersbach Combo – Kit Ebersbach, the Juilliard-trained producer, arranger and keyboard musician, together with vocalist Starr Kalāhiki, will continue the night of jazz in style. Well-versed in jazz, bebop, R&B and Hawaiian music, Kalāhiki has made her mark in Honolulu and beyond.

PARKING:
Royal Hawaiian Center’s validated parking promotion offers 1 hour free parking with validation and $1 per hour for the next 3 hours for a maximum of 4 hours.
After 4 hours, standard parking rates apply of $6 per hour. Special event parking validation rates are available at $5. No minimum purchase is required
for validation.


Royal Hawaiian Center has the largest parking garage in the heart of Waikīkī with 10 levels of parking and more than 600 stalls. The entrance is located up a
parking ramp as you enter the Center on the right side of Royal Hawaiian Avenue.
