Honolulu, HI – The Tenth Annual Waikiki SPAM® Jam is on Saturday April 28, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki.
Admission to the event is free; entertainment is free. Kalakaua Avenue is closed to car traffic for the event, and two entertainment stages are set up on the street. Between the stages, a dozen restaurants will be serving SPAM® in many different ways, so attendees can experience an enormous variety of delicious recipes. New to 2012 is a Food Truck rally area with more restaurant choices serving SPAM® dishes.
Now in its 10th year, the Waikiki SPAM® Jam has become one of the most popular festivals in Hawaii because of its great food and entertainment in a family-friendly atmosphere. Local residents and visitors alike have made this an annual tradition. Last year, an estimated 25,000 people attended the event. The event takes place on Kalakaua Avenue, between Seaside Avenue and Kaiulani Avenue fronting the Royal Hawaiian Center and the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel.
