The Don Quijote Professional Soccer Clinic, presented by Kraft Foods, will be held on Feb. 21 at Aloha Stadium, for soccer players ages 5-14. Participants are asked to enter through Gate 4, which will open at 4:30 p.m. Participants will be able to partake in soccer interactive learning stations, which will be manned by US and Foreign National Licensed coaches. There will also be professionals from the four participating Hawaiian Island Invitational teams teaching the fundamentals of the game, and will have inflatable soccer fields and speed shot power testing.
Participating professionals include defenders Kosuke Kimura and Scott Palguta, forward Andre Akpan and midfielder Kohei Yamada, along with youth coordinator Brian Crookham from the Colorado Rapids, midfielder Alon Blumgart and defender Charles King from the Melbourne Heart, and midfielder Kim Ikhyun and defender Lee Wongyu from Busan I’Park. Players from Yokohama are to be determined.
All participants should bring a soccer ball, shinguards and a water bottle, all which should clearly be labeled with the participant’s name.
