Honolulu, HI - To commemorate the 6th annual celebration of the arts "Hawaii's Modern Masters" Fine Art Exhibit to be held at Luxury Row from November 3rd through December 4th, 2011, the ownership of Luxury Row at 2100 Kalakaua Avenue is proud to support the Honolulu Academy of Arts' "Art to Go" program.


The ownership of Luxury Row at 2100 Kalakaua Avenue will make a donation to help support the "Art to Go" program so that Hawaii's children at risk can continue to receive qualified art instruction and supplies as needed throughout the islands. "Art To Go" is the Honolulu Academy of Arts' nonprofit outreach program designed to serve Hawaii's youth at risk. In partnership with Hawaii's social service agencies, community-based organizations and public schools, “Art To Go” sends qualified artist instructors and supplies to host sites throughout the islands. “Art To Go” programming is offered to children grades K-12. One program serves 15-20 students. Since 2003, “Art To Go” programming has provided experiences in the arts to more than 6,000 youth throughout the state.




"We are honored to be hosting our 6th “Hawaii's Modern Masters” Exhibit at Luxury Row, where fine art meets fashion of the world in the heart of Waikiki. Through our cooperative effort Luxury Row has the wonderful opportunity to broaden the audience Internationally for these fine Hawaii artists. We hope that this donation may inspire blossoming young art students and nurture their talent so that they may reach their highest potential and may some day exhibit their work at a future Modern Masters exhibit at Luxury Row," says Robert Siegel, President and CEO of Metropole Realty.


High Fashion and Fine Art are coming together in Waikiki at Luxury Row - the home to world famous luxury retailers, Tiffany & Co., COACH, Yves Saint Laurent, CHANEL, GUCCI, TOD'S, Bottega Veneta, and Hugo Boss. At the 6th Annual celebration of local artists from the Hawaii community these world renowned fashion retail boutiques will feature local artwork alongside their haute couture fashion at The "Hawaii's Modern Masters" Fine Art Exhibit at Luxury Row at 2100 Kalakaua Avenue in
Waikiki. The “Hawaii’s Modern Masters” exhibits express Luxury Row and its retailers’ recognition of the connection between Art and Fashion. In support of the Hawaii cultural community, these world class retailers are showcasing the work of local Hawaii artists in their boutiques including mixed media sculptures and paintings, photographs, glass, bronze and ceramics. The exhibit is presented in collaboration with Cedar Street Galleries. Eleven local artists bring the count to over 80 Hawaiian
artists that have participated in this event over the past six years.

Luxury Row: In the heart of Waikiki, this elegant collection of flagship boutiques is known to fashion insiders as Hawaii's "Luxury Row." On this fashionable block you will be surrounded by the world's most exclusive brands, Tiffany & Co., Coach, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Gucci, Tod's, Bottega Veneta, and Hugo Boss. Located at the entrance to Honolulu's Waikiki resort and retail district, 2100 Kalakaua Avenue's "Luxury Row" forms the entrance to elegance and is one of the finest collections of luxury brands in the world. The exhibit will be on view at Luxury Row in each boutique and open to the public from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily from November 3rd to December 4th at Luxury Row at 2100 Kalakaua Avenue. Complimentary Valet Parking is available at the Porte Cochere from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Self-Parking is available next door at King Kalakaua Plaza when validated at Luxury Row Boutiques.
