Ward Centers Puts the Spotlight on Mom at Discover Kaka‘ako, May 11 Celebrate mom with all the things she loves – fashion, food and family fun.
HONOLULU (May 2, 2013) – On Saturday, May 11, 2013, Ward Centers’ Discover Kaka?ako event will be blossoming with love and appreciation for the women that mean the most. From 5-9 p.m., kama‘?ina and visitors alike can celebrate every mother, grandmother, and moms-to-be with fashion, food, entertainment, keiki-friendly activities, and more. Additionally, the first 200 people to show they “like” Ward Centers on Facebook at the Discover Kaka?ako information tent will receive a Ward Centers swag bag valued at $20 and filled with goodies from Ward Centers merchants.
Half-y Hour is also back, helping superwomen take the night off to enjoy a fashionable 50 percent off at participating Ward Centers merchants paired with delicious cocktail samples. Shoppers can stop by the Discover Kaka?ako information tent to pick up a coupon sheet and map, which guides them to all the fashion-infused fun. Shoppers must provide an I.D. and be 21 and over to participate in alcohol sampling.
“This month we’re dedicating our event to the women who raised us, cared for us and devoted their lives to us,” said Katie Ka‘anapu, Ward Centers’ senior marketing manager. “Whether she’s a fashion-forward trendsetter, a zealous foodie, or just wants an evening out with family and friends, we hope that every mother will feel special and celebrated at Discover Kaka?ako.”
