Waikīkī – WHITETAG. – Waikīkī’s newest boutique featuring a distinctive collection of
coveted fashion for women and men, created by internationally renowned designers – is
giving shoppers a sneak peek of what’s to come with a “preview store” that is now open on
level 1 of Building B at Royal Hawaiian Center. A larger selection of high-quality
merchandise will be available in late July when WHITETAG. opens its flagship location at
the Center on the same level in Building A.
“We are extremely excited to welcome the very first WHITETAG. store to Royal Hawaiian
Center,” said Marleen ‘Ākau, general manager. “The boutique’s refined and stylish
offerings will be highly appealing to residents and visitors, especially with the Japan and
Korea markets.”
WHITETAG.’s preview store showcases contemporary Spring/Summer collections
including the simple yet sophisticated lines by Vince (New York), handprinted shirts by
Rxmance (San Diego), timeless denim with a modern flair by Current/Elliott (Los Angeles),
as well as forward-thinking and playful silhouettes and shoes by Opening Ceremony (New
York). Many of these designers are sought-after by mainstream celebrities who have been
spotted sporting their looks.
“Our vision is to provide clients with an unparalleled shopping experience that is unique to
Waikīkī,” said manager Kenkichi Hase. “Royal Hawaiian Center’s location puts us in the
heart of it all.”
When the store moves to its flagship location in Building A at Royal Hawaiian Center in
July, it plans to feature Fall/Winter fashion and an enhanced lineup of designers such as
Repetto (Paris), established in 1947 and revered for its professional ballerina shoes, and
Duvetica (Italy), renowned for its high-quality, fashionable outerwear.
