Happy New Year!
My family is going to Izumo Taisha(a shinto shrine) every year on new years day. I wish healthy for my family and peace for the world.
Many of Local Japanese are going to a shrine and this is very popular at Japan also. You will be able to have a good luck at here!
Izumo Taisha located at Chaina Town. (215 N Kukui St )
Iaumo Taisha was built by Japanese immigrants in 1923.
how to wish at here?..... at the first you have to wash your hands at here.
And you should give some money(o saisen) for wishing.... after this you crap your hands one time and bow. Finally you can wish!
Miko who is helping Guuji(the chief priest of a shrine) is selling goods for good luck.
I got one each for my family!
